Memine

Developed with a focus on

Human Factors and Human Centeric Design

A memory-enhancing educational toy built to address the impact of unrestricted internet access on children's memory retention and brain development. Studies show that constant internet use can slow the growth of grey matter, which controls executive functions like memory, language, and concentration. This phenomenon, known as digital amnesia or memory offloading, leads to developmental issues if left unaddressed. The toy features a tactile, paper-like screen with three standard games focused on memorization, hand-eye coordination, and increasing cognitive difficulty. It also includes a customizable game that generates quizzes based on grade level, location, and subject.

The design is visually and tactically engaging, providing an enjoyable way to enhance memory. With a removable controller for easy use at home or simplified on the go use, the toy is both versatile and portable. The app helps parents generate personalized quizzes, creating a tailored learning experience based on subjects or hobbies for their child. This innovative approach improves memory and cognitive function, offering a solution to support brain development and foster a smarter, better future.
